Ripon Racecourse provides a truly unique setting for your wedding.The Racecourse is licensed for Civil ceremonies and Civil partnerships and is also a stunning venue for Wedding receptions.

Training in Yorkshire

We now offer a range of training courses led by our qualified in-house instructors. We provide a comprehensive range of first aid training courses including OFSTED paediatric first aid as well as other Health & Safety courses.

About Livius, Corporate Hospitality Yorkshire

In 2007 Livius Events recognised a need for bespoke conference venues and meeting venues in the Ripon and Yorkshire area. Located in the tranquil setting of Ripon Racecourse, we have a range of 12 meeting rooms and function rooms suitable for conferencing and functions for 5 to 200 people.

Not many conference centres can boast nearly 250 acres of open space including a lake! All that space means that we have the capacity to host 2,000 people at once. As a genuinely independent conference and function venue, we can offer you a personal service and bespoke flexibility.

Based at Ripon Racecourse, in North Yorkshire, we are situated just 5 minutes off the A1m, making us very accessible from both the North and South. We are located within easy reach of rail and air networks and we can even arrange luxury taxis and coach services to ensure your journey is as comfortable as possible.

At Livius Events we like to do our little bit for the environment. Not only do we re-cycle and re-use, we use eco-friendly products wherever possible to reduce the harsh chemicals we pour down the drain.

Being part of the local economy is also very important to us so we always try and use local suppliers. We know our butcher, our milkman and our grocer and if we can't source a product locally, we work hard to find the nearest UK supplier before buying from abroad. Not only does it help the environment and support local businesses but ensures you get the best of what Yorkshire has to offer.
