Accreditation to (MIA) Meetings Industry Association
1) As a new Conference venue in Ripon and with our commitment to delivering a top quality customer service, we felt that it was important that Livius Events were accredited to the largest association within the meetings sector. This would give our clients confidence in our service levels and allow us to network with other members and access to the industries specific training and events.
As a supplier of Meetings and Conferences we often find potential clients looking for accreditations and proof that we are legitimate and respected in the industry. The rigorous application process which includes AIM Accreditation, guarantees that we comply with the highest standards. We proudly display the MIA logo on our website and at the main entrance to the conference rooms.
2) Training Division.
Training was always part of our business plan once we had established the meetings and conference side of Livius Events.
In early 2010 we carried out detailed market research across North Yorkshire and identified a number of opportunities to provide specific training to select market sectors in a quality venue. We had the added advantage of operating from a prestigious venue with a large number of rooms which are ideal for training, all of which have natural daylight, modern equipment and facilities. We knew we could offer training courses which include Tea, Coffee and lunch, at competitive levels by running them alongside our existing meetings which creates efficiencies across both businesses.
We ran our first Emergency First Aid at Work’ course in June and have expanded rapidly and are now offering a full range of First Aid, Health & Safety and Food Safety Courses. The expansion has allowed us to employ a dedicated trainer which will allow us to develop the business further.
